Our Story
From Pharmaceuticals to Agriculture: A Journey of growth and Impact.
In 1991, Obikason Pharmacy & Stores Ltd was incorporated by Obianika Angus, focusing on pharmaceutical distribution. By 2005, the business pivoted to importing and distributing agricultural equipment.
In 2011, Obianika Ebuka joined the business, helping it expand from a small trading shop in Onitsha to a thriving company with over 15 locations across Nigeria.
By 2023, the business sought to go beyond trade—it wanted to solve real problems while driving growth. Seeing the challenges of maize and soybean insecurity and widespread poverty among farmers, Obikason Agribusiness was established with a clear purpose:
1. Enhancing food security —starting with maize and soybean.
2. Reducing poverty —empowering farmers with better resources and opportunities.
